Healthy Home Healthy Family, Nicole Bijlsma

Discover how your home may be affecting your family’s health and what to do about it in the 3rd Edition of Nicole’s book.

If your home has been water-damaged, has poor insulation, ventilation and natural lighting as well as high levels of humidity, you may have a mold problem which could be contributing to a range of health concerns and conditions.

The MIMS program has been developed by Dr Sandeep Gupta who runs an integrative medical practice on the Sunshine Coast, QLD Australia, helping patients with chronic and complex health conditions.

This course takes the latest research and knowledge and outlines the basics of Mold Illness (commonly known as CIRS – Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome), how to get tested, how to recover and how to remediate. It is possible to recover and this course may play an important role in providing essential insights and information.

The course covers the following topics with informative videos and power-point slides:

Part 1    CIRS

  • Inflammation and CIRS

  • Other causes of CIRS (besides WDBs – water damaged buildings)

  • Screening and Diagnosing CIRS and mold related conditions

  • CIRS Treatment

Part 2    Water Damaged Buildings (WDBs)

  • Mold, Water Damage and Building Testing

  • Basics of Remediation – buildings and contents

  • Finding and maintaining a healthy home

  • Bonus including vagus nerve and limbic system support

The course is for patients, health practitioners, indoor environmental professionals (IEPs) and mold remediators. Remediation must follow complete and correct protocols for best results.

If you suspect or know you have a problem with mold in your home then this course is well worth the time and investment to get on top of the problem and avoid re-exposure in the future.
