Broadcasting Our Own Frequency

This is an older post I wrote back in 2020 and I feel it has a lot of resonance for the times we are in here and now.

Considering the external noise surrounding us at the moment, our resilience and strength is more important than ever and amongst all the outside pressure, we’re being given a unique opportunity to build our inner resolve, intuition and our capacity for self-acceptance, love and healing. It is a time to nourish our purpose and potential.

We’re probably all familiar with the analogy of tuning the radio station to a clear and undistorted channel, free from the interference of competing frequencies.  Realising that we are our own channel and that the clarity we obtain depends on our own strength of signal, allows us to resonate who we truly are.

Standing in the strength of our own frequency allows us to show up as the best version of ourselves, emanating this out to others from a place of expansion rather than limitation. There is an inner calm and peace that comes with being able to do this and having faith in the resilience that it brings.

Broadcasting our own frequency in high definition not only increases our own wellbeing but also inspires others.  We start to create alignment with a higher sense of self and the outside world around us.

Things that don’t align become less amplified and less pronounced, fading into the background with less of an impact.  Old narratives don’t seem to play that well or are tuned out completely as we become more capable of moving through things rather than everything being such a struggle.

External factors may set the scene for this learning and insight but the creation is always our own.

We can strengthen our own frequency by doing the following:

  • Recognising when we’re the best version of ourselves and when we’re not.

  • Taking time for considered reflection rather than immediate reaction.

  • Confidently questioning things through newfound awareness.

  • Acknowledging and openly communicating our own needs.

  • Making space and priority for self-care and embracing intuition.

  • Extending ourselves to offer comfort and support to others.

  • Creating opportunities for learning and sharing our successes.

  • Aligning our thoughts, words and actions with the things that bring us joy.

All of these things make it easier to maintain a clear and uninterrupted channel, allowing us to respond to external stressors in a more empowered and balanced way.
